International
Association of Law Libraries (IALL) holds a conference in a
different country each, their Annual Course in International law
Librarianship. IALL arranged a law session at the IFLA Conference for many
years and recently, together with the American Association of Law
Libraries, helped to create the Section of Law Libraries within
IFLA.

International
Federation of Library Associations (IFLA) has a Section
of Law Libraries which is Section 48 of IFLA and part of
IFLA Division II: Special Libraries. The Section was established in 2005
at the initiative of
the International Association of Law Libraries (IALL) and the American
Association of Law Libraries (AALL) after several years as the IFLA Law
Libraries Discussion Group.
Other IFLA Sections include: IFLA Section on Library and Research Services for Parliaments and the IFLA Section of Government Libraries.
